WHAT its Wednesday and I'm off that's what! Today promises to be full of doing a whole lotta nothing.

I never talked about how AMAZING How to Train Your Dragon is. Vince and I watched last night and he liked it and I sure liked it a lot! Everything about it was awesome including the soundtrack by Powell who is super good. Im gonna hafta purchase it one of these days...

Any-who. Now that I've been here for a good 6 days and met some new peeps I'm finding that I don't miss San Marcos much. I do miss my siblings and sometimes when I can't reach my drink that's all the way across the room I miss Alice (jk lol) but besides that? Nope. Maybe it's because of Twitter and Facebook and as Joel put it "the witchcraft of the internet" it feels like I never really left. And maybe to everyone else it's like I never left. Im still here, floating about on this neighbors stolen wireless connection. Everyone goes on with their lives, everyone continues with their routines without so much as a side ways glance, know what I mean? Oh and Vince is still here, being an awesome GM. STALKER REPORT: He's sleeping right now, probably cuz I'm on his laptop and he got bored and decided sleep was better than watching me surf through perezhilton.com and look at sexy shirtless guys and ponder out loud to myself how Ricky Martin is gay and then wonder to himself who the fuck Ricky Martin is.

I don't know when I'll go back to SM but there are no plans to go anytime soon.

So I put up my life size Edward Cullen on the back of my bathroom door and I forgot he was there when I was taking a shower so when I pulled back the curtain I got scared and immediately felt embarrassed of his piercing gaze. Maybe putting him there was a bad idea...

For those of you who wonder or care, I haven't updated cuz I have no internets and blogging through my phone is really frustrating. But here I am... Typing away at 1am on my phone. I hope this comes out alright. For some reason I can't update through the main area I gotta do it from the HTML editor it's kinda lamesauce. So sorry if this is one giant paragraph.

So I sarted the new theater last Friday. I worked box office with one of the main boss dudes. Business was surprisingly slow, which was good for me cuz I was doing guest services mainly. The rest of the weekend I spent in concessions. The first day was whatever but I gotta say... As of right now I'm totally digging concessions.

The best way to describe the new theater is... It's like a parallel universe. Everything is the same but absolutely everything is different. Weird right?? Everyone is chill. I still don't understand the structure of the place. It seems like everyone does everything. All managers know how to open and close both cnc and box which is cool. They also all have their own special duties. As of right now my only duty is to open/close the two departments and that's it. Maybe later I can get more responsabilities.

Yesterday was my first day off since I got here. I hadn't really had a chance to sit back and relax/enjoy my new place. Well, I didn't do much relaxing today anyway. I spent the entire day cleaning :( I think keeping myself busy has kept me from missing anyone and honestly, the thought of being the newbie at a new theater has taken up a whole lot of my spare thoughts. I have definitely been too preoccupied to ponder life and what not.

I open CNC tomorrow then I'm off on Wednesday!!! Hopefully i can relax 100% by then :)

Apartment 41

WELL, Vince turned in the keys to the old apartment here in San Marcos so we are 100% moved out!! We sure had some nice memories there, along with some sweet parties, and it will be missed. BUT, we now have a super sweet and swankalicious NEW apartment that will remove all those old memories and replace them with newer and nicer ones... Juuust kidding.

I'm still in San Marcos until the end of my shift on Thursday night (I'm staying with my mom for the time being) then after that I'm off to live in Rancho Santa Margarita, or Margaritaville as Kevin calls it for short. I start at my new theater on Friday night! Soo crazy.

I've been thinking of ways to leave my mark on the SM building... Haven't thought of anything cooler than writing "Maritza was hear" on the money room table hahaha. I'll come up with something clever. I do have a surprise for everyone tomorrow though. It's nothing you can have but it sure will be talked about while I'm there lawl. Like I need more people talking about me.

Three more days of working at San Marcos then I'm off for good. HOW WEIRD. Thursday is my last day and I'm working the midnight for How to Train Your Dragon (can't wait to watch it.) I'm pretty sure I start at the new theater on Friday but I haven't gotten my schedule yet so I dunno...

There is still a lot of cleaning to be done at this old apartment... anyone want to come help? Huh?? Anyone? Hey- Where are you going? COME BACK! ... Well forget you then!!!

I'm definitely ready to get some stability back in my lyfe. Everything feels chaotic right now. And speaking of Chaos... VINCE LETS GET A CAT!!! :3 I know where we can get some kitties fresh outta their mommy!!!

I would name my new kitty FURY. Only if he was pure black though. Im open to suggestions for kitty names.

I've never been able to draw myself. I've seen people draw themselves as superheros or warriors or something awesome but not even when Im making myself cool can I draw myself. This unholy abomination was supposed to be me but I quit half way and now it looks like... A dude in drag.

I'm trying to get back into drawing and AWESOMIZING my pics on photoshop. Alls I got is Elements (thanks Vince) which I've never used before.

The main reason for getting back into drawing?? Cuz it takes up a HELL of a lot of time, time which would other wise be spent playing... World of Warcraft :3 my one true love...

I was browsing some old photos and I found this relic. Maybe I should stick with drawing other people... I'm way better at that than drawing myself, that's fur shur. I'll post more drawings here and there.

New Beginnings

I've been trying to get a post in but the the beautiful weather and lack of internet has stopped me from posting. I'm in San Marcos until next Thursday the 25th and then on Friday I will be starting at my new theatre. I had two interviews last week, one on Sunday and one on Monday. It was literally an epic couple of days with those GM's... The choice was definitely hard. I spent Monday and most of early Tuesday deciding which theater I wanted to go to. In the end I opted out of a considerably busier and more challenging theater to one that I feel I will be able to grow with. It's funny that I went from freaking out that no theater would want me to me having to chose between two really cool theaters. I'm confidant in my decision and I know I will have lots of fun!

Oh yeah so I guess you guys want to know where I'm going lol, I decided to go to Aliso Viejo in... Aliso Viejo. It's half an hour or so, depending on traffic, from my new place. It's a really nice theater I had never been there before until I had the interview. The best part about it is that there's a game stop right next door and a Michaels across the street!! Lawl juuust kidding. Everyone was really nice while I was there and I'm excited to start working. I don't know if I feel nervous or not. Usually, much to Vince's annoyance, I like to numb myself pretty good to situations that would make me anxious or stressed because I cope better that way. If I'm nervous I tend to not be as confidant as I would otherwise be. I dunno. Right now, I'm not afraid, but let's see how I fare when the day comes.

Being in San Marcos is weird. I spent two and a half days in RSM and it already feels like home to me... probably cuz all my stuff is there and this place is barren. Still, when I officially move out of SM I'm going to be sad. I'm going to miss everyone and my family BUT with technology now-a-days we can ALL stay connected AMIRITE? :) That's why I have this blog and facebook and twitter and myspace and MSN messenger and gmail CHAT and Skype etc. I expect everyone to talk to me every single day. Is that so much to ask?

Vince dragged me to USCD today. I got some reading in. ARTHAS oh my BEN good stuff. I saw Adam POWERS there. It's a shame he had to leave so soon... Oh and Alice, Vince got THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG today. We can all watch it together whenever you decide to come on over!

SO. Neon Trees' new album came out yesterday. It's 6.99 on iTunes right now GO BUY IT. It's definitely some good ear candy. And now for some pictures of my misadventures these past few days.

I went over to my moms house and she had this GIANT JAR OF PICKLES in the fridge. WTF I ate like ten of them, stashed some in my pockets then ran home giggling with my spoils.

So I've been lookin' to transfer to a theater in OC and out of the four that I had in mind only one seems interested which is AWESOME cuz it's better than none! I was sort of freaking out yesterday cuz I didn't know what was gonna happen with the job situation. What if I didn't get a job?? What was I gonna do?? I was already planning my "HEY SEE YA WHEN I SEE YA" farewell bash in a completely unfurnished apartment here in SM. Wouldn't it be turrible if I had the party and it just so happened that I wasn't leaving ahahahaha :( let's hope that doesn't happen.

So the good news is I'm meeting with a GM of a local theater on Monday. I hope all goes well! Wish me luck y'all. I now leave you with this casual picture I took of Vince when he wasn't looking. You can see the happiness radiation from his very soul.

Moving Day

SO today was day one of moving to OC. We managed to move the bulk of all our stuff with minimal injuries... unless you count the time Alice almost got crushed by the couch, the time I almost fell up the stairs, the time Vince messed up his arm or the time Rosanna hurt her shoulder by carrying super heavy boxes. Ryan was there too but I dunno if he got hurt at all or not... RYAN did you get hurt? If so I apologize for neglecting to mention it!! Vince was kind enough to treat us all to some delicious foods but that was BEFORE we were hurt... everyone still appreciated a nice full belly though. We're going to move whats left, which isnt much, little by little and then it's goodbye SM and hello RSM. lawl.

According to Vince and his mathematics, we have been workin' and movin' stuff for the past 15 hours. It didn't feel so bad but we had two drive up to RSM twice. It's a LONG hour drive of boredom.

Mini Update

I don't think anyone really doubted the fact that I actually own a life sized Edward Cullen, but just in case... here is a picture!

I've gotten a lot of questions about the moving/transferring situation over the past week. I've also come across a few ridiculous, albeit HILARIOUS rumors as well. Vince and I (and a few slaves) will move most of our belongings tomorrow up to RSM. We aren't out of San Marcos forever just yet. I still don't have a job secured on OC so I'll be here at least until the end of the month. Vince has school so he will still be ghostin' about SD county until his final which is next week. After that he's free!! And he will start actually living in RSM.

It's scary and exciting to be leaving SD county when I've lived here all my life. It will be cool though. I can replace all my friends with frequent trips to MOTHAFUCKIN DISNEYLAND!!!

But seriously, if anyone wants to visit you're more than welcome to. But don't expect a ride.

Tides of Change

HEY

I'm not good at keeping up with people and Vince is a ghost in everyone's memories, so here's this super neat blog that I've decided to start up so that everyone in San Marcos can keep up with our, mostly my, goings-on! Pretty neat, huh? I LOVE blogging so this will be updated frequently and WITH PICTURES.

In case you haven't heard... I'll be moving to Orange County in a couple of weeks (if all goes well) along with Edna, Bethany and Vince. Vince recently became GENERALFREAKINMANAGER of Rancho Santa Margarita 6 in Rancho Santa Margarita, which happens to be where we're moving to! If you've never heard of this place don't worry, cuz up until a few weeks ago I had never heard of it either and now I'm moving there!! It's a small little city tucked away between green mountains. The city also features a nice lake and lots of trees. I've only been there once, last Wednesday actually, so I can't describe it more than that.



I'll be transferring to a theater up there soon so in the mean time, I'll be enjoying everyone's company before I depart to OC. The reason I'm moving up there is just to try something new, meet new people, put myself out of my comfort zone and possibly learn a new thing or two about... Regal. That's the real reason why I'm leaving. Also I'm tired of the same thing every day. And no, I'm not getting married any time soon.

I spent yesterday packing. There are 25 boxes chillin' in the living room waiting to be put into a truck on Wednesday morning. I'm not excited about moving heavy furniture and boxes, but I AM excited to be in my new apartment!! I'm mostly excited about the fact that I now have somewhere to put my life sized Edward Cullen cut out without Vince making faces about it. Your time to shine has come, Edward... pun not intended heh heh heh.

Well that's all for now. Time to do more packing! And in case you were wondering, Edna is a stuffed dolphin and Bethany is Vince's new wife formerly known as a Blackberry.
