SICKNESS

SO, I watched Pirates uhhh 4? This is what I told an employee at work today when he asked me if I liked it, "HMM, I enjoyed the middle, but I lost interest towards the end when it went into Pirates 3 territory." It's not a movie I would watch again but if you're into THAT sort of thing *coughIngridcough* then Im sure there's some re-watch... value... or somethin'.Why does it have to go CRAZY?? Why can't it just be some pirates fightin' each other, sailing the seven seas, plunderin', drinkin' and hanging out with wenches?? IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?? Apparently it is, DISNEY. Come talk to me when you stop making CRAZY MOVIES.

Anywayz, the real reason for this blog is so I can cronichle the exact moment I started feeling better cuz if you didnt know, I've been sick these past few days. Lets go back to last Friday. I was super excited cuz I was gonna go visit my family in San Marcos! All I had to do was get through the weekend and then it was party time! BUT THEN, Sunday night I had an itch in my throat. Monday morning the itch turned into a cough. I was going to sleep it off Monday night and leave for San Marcos on Tuesday. But when I woke up the next day I was WORSE! Long story short, I developed a cold (which I will forever blame on Pirates 4 cuz I stayed up super late to watch the IMAX at midght!!)!! So for my two whole days off, that were supposed to be for fun and tacos, I spent in bed SICK. It was THE WORST WEEK EVER. Anyway, The thing is, that I completely lost my sense of smell while I was sick, right? And I got used to it. I mean, who needs to taste food or smell lotions? I just had to assume I didnt smell like ass. So Im laying in bed, watching Lady Gaga's special on HBO when I decide to get up to make out with  my lover, the Internet, and I start SMELLING AGAIN. And the smells I smelled were a combination of wet cat food, flowers, animal smells and UGH I felt so SICK to my stomach! So I went to the bathroom to escape but the more I moved the more I had to BREATHE and the more I smelled! Then I started smelling everything and I felt worse. In the bathroom I could smell the shampoo and toothpaste and I swear I could smell the toilet paper rolls. It was really crazy! I have never in my life wanted to lose my sense of smell more than at that moment when I became un-sick. I think the reason it hit me so hard is because we get used to the smells we smell every day, ya know? Like the smell of your car or your house or where you work. But since I had been deprived of those smells, I was just overwhelmed with the smell of everything coming back at me at the same time and it was as if it was all new again. SO CRAZY. I have a huge head ache right now.

And lastly, we got a new concession stand at work MHMM. It's so shiny and new but there's no counter space and everything is all over the place. Honestly, if it had more counter space in the back I would love it. Sure things are new and the soda tastes fresh and the popcorn is actually good but, whats the point of new stuff if it causes more head aches?? WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE HOT DOGS??? WHERE?!?!? Why do I have an unnecessarily LARGE hot dog grill, but no where to make all those hot dogs?? I DONT UNDERSTAND. But, I sure am grateful we got it!!! HAH HAH HAHHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. Seariously, that new stand is great, especially cuz it's two times wider so people dont bump into each other!!! YAY!

So in conclusion I guess Im no longer sick, which is good. Hopefully I dont get sick again next week cuz there's tacos and Disneyland to be had!!!
